Compatibility and Requirements

The U7 Pro requires:

• A PoE+ network switch or compatible PoE+ injector

• Cat5e or better Ethernet cabling; Cat6 is recommended for 2.5GbE

• A UniFi Console, Cloud Gateway or compatible UniFi Network application

• Compatible client devices to access Wi-Fi 7 and 6GHz features

The availability and permitted use of the 6GHz band depend on local regulations and the configured country or region. Older Wi-Fi devices can connect using supported previous-generation standards.
